FAQ
What age is it for?
Around ages 10–12 and up (5th–6th grade). No multiplication or fractions — just the ability to think through cases: "What if Fox were a liar…?"
What are the rules?
Whatever an honest animal says is always true, and whatever a liar says is always false. If an honest animal says "Bear is a liar," Bear really is a liar. If a liar says it, Bear is honest.
Can a puzzle have two answers?
No. For all 3 levels, we try every combination of honest animals and liars (8 for 3 animals, 32 for 5) and keep only puzzles where exactly one combination works. There are no puzzles where nobody lies or everyone lies.
What happens with a wrong answer?
No ✕ appears. A sentence shows where your answer breaks down — for example, "If Bear is a liar, then Bear's 'Rabbit is honest' would be true" — and then the next puzzle starts. That puzzle counts as wrong, though, and you can't join the leaderboard for that run.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
Only runs with all 8 puzzles correct can be posted, ranked by total time, fastest first. Each number of animals has its own leaderboard. Puzzles change at midnight Japan time (UTC+9), and everyone gets the same 8 on the same day with the same number of animals. Random practice gives different puzzles every time and isn't recorded.
