FAQ

What are the rules of the binary puzzle?

(1) Each row and each column has the same number of 0s and 1s. (2) No more than two of the same digit may sit next to each other horizontally or vertically. (3) No two rows may be identical, and no two columns may be identical. That's all three rules.

Any solving tips?

Start by avoiding triples: after "0 0 _" the next cell must be 1, and in "0 _ 0" the middle must be 1. Once a row has half its cells as 0 (or 1), the rest must all be the other digit.

Does every puzzle have only one solution?

Yes. Every puzzle is built to have a unique solution. You never need to guess — logic alone is enough.

How is the leaderboard ranked?

By the time from opening the puzzle to filling it in correctly, fastest first. You only need a nickname, and you can submit up to 30 times a day per size. The server checks your solution.
