FAQ

How do you play Sudoku?

Fill the 9×9 grid with the digits 1–9. No digit may appear twice in any row, any column, or any of the nine 3×3 boxes outlined in bold.

Does every puzzle have only one solution?

Yes. Every puzzle is built to have a unique solution (we check that the solution stays unique each time a clue is removed). You never need to guess — logic alone is enough.

How do notes work?

Press Notes to switch to note mode; pressing a digit then adds it to the cell as a small candidate, and pressing it again removes it. Entering a final digit clears that cell's notes.

How is the leaderboard ranked?

By the time from opening the puzzle to filling it in correctly, fastest first. You only need a nickname, and you can submit up to 30 times a day per level. The server checks your solution.
