FAQ
How do you play Make 10?
Use each of the four numbers exactly once and combine them freely with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and parentheses to make 10. You can't put digits side by side to make a two-digit number. In Japan it's a popular way to pass the time with the four digits on a train ticket.
What if a division doesn't come out even?
Fractions are kept as they are. For example, 1, 1, 9, 9 makes (1 ÷ 9 + 1) × 9 = 10. Fractions along the way are fine as long as the final result is 10.
What if I can't solve it?
Press Show answer to see a solution (that puzzle can then no longer be submitted). Every set of four numbers is guaranteed to have a solution.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
