FAQ

How do you play Klondike?

On the tableau you can place a card on one that is one rank higher and the opposite color (red on black, black on red). A face-up run can be moved together. Only a king (or a run starting with a king) can go into an empty column. Build each foundation by suit from ace to king; moving all 52 cards up wins. When a column runs out of face-up cards, the next face-down card turns over automatically.

What's the difference between draw 1 and draw 3?

It's how many cards go to the waste each time you draw from the stock. With draw 1 you can reach every card in order; with draw 3, three cards come out at once and only the top one is playable, which makes it harder. In both modes you can turn the waste back over and go through the stock as many times as you like.

Is every deal solvable?

No — some deals can't be solved. That's why the leaderboard ranks how many cards you moved to the foundations, not just whether you won. If you get stuck, press Finish to record your count so far.

Any tips for the controls?

Tap the card you want to move, then tap where it should go. Tap the same card again to send it automatically to a foundation or a column it fits. Auto-play sends every card that can go to the foundations. Made a mistake? Undo (or press Z).

How is the leaderboard ranked?

By cards moved to the foundations (+50 for a win), most first; ties go to the shorter time. Draw 1 and draw 3 have separate leaderboards. You only need a nickname, and you can submit up to 30 times a day. The server replays your game from the start to verify it.
