FAQ

How do you play Golf Solitaire?

Take any card at the bottom of the seven columns that is one rank above or below the top card of the waste pile, and put it on the waste. The card you take becomes the new waste card, so you can keep the chain going. If nothing can be taken, draw one card from the stock. You only go through the stock once.

What's the difference between Standard and A-K wrap?

In Standard, aces and kings don't connect (only a queen can follow a king, and only a 2 can follow an ace). With A-K wrap, an ace can follow a king and a king can follow an ace, so you can clear more cards and it's easier. They have separate leaderboards.

Any tips?

Every card is visible, so when two or more cards can be taken, pick the one that lets you keep the chain going longer. Working down the longest columns first tends to leave playable cards for the end game.

How are the score and leaderboard decided?

Your score is the number of cards cleared from the columns (up to 35), plus 50 if you clear them all. Higher scores rank first; ties go to the shorter time. You only need a nickname, and you can submit up to 30 times a day. The server replays your moves to verify them.
