FAQ
What age is it for?
Grades 3 and 4, when kids start learning fractions. The 2, 3, 4 level only uses halves, thirds and fourths, so even second graders can answer by looking.
Do simplified answers count?
Yes. If 4 of 8 slices have toppings, both 4/8 and 1/2 are right (and 2/4 is too, since it's the same amount). Answers are checked by the value of the fraction.
What is the Adding level?
Two pizzas cut into the same number of slices appear, and you answer the total (1/6 and 2/6 make 3/6, and 1/2 is right too). There is no adding of fractions with different denominators.
What happens with a wrong answer?
There is no red X. The fraction you picked gives a little wiggle, and the right fraction (and its simplest form, if there is one) is shown before the next pizza. That pizza still counts as wrong, and the run can no longer go on the leaderboard.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
Only a run with all 10 right can be submitted, ranked by the time to finish, fastest first. Each level has its own leaderboard. The pizzas change at midnight Japan time (UTC+9), and everyone gets the same 10 on the same day and level. Random practice gives new pizzas every time and is not recorded.
