How do you play Connect 4?
Pick a column and your disc drops to the lowest empty spot. The first to line up four of their discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. If the grid fills up, it's a draw.
How strong is the computer?
It looks 4 moves ahead, blocks your threes and avoids letting you build them. Its play changes a little every day.
How is the score calculated?
Only wins are recorded, scored as 43 minus the total number of moves (yours plus the computer's). The faster you win, the higher the score. Losses and draws can't be submitted.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
Highest score first; ties go to the shorter time. You only need a nickname, and you can submit up to 30 times a day. The server replays your game, including the computer's replies, to verify it.
