FAQ

What age is it for?

Grades 1 and 2, when kids start learning to read a clock. Start with O'clock, then move on to Half hour, 5 min and 1 min once that feels easy.

How do I answer?

Pick the hour from 1 to 12 in the top row, pick the minutes in the row below, then press Answer. On the 1 min level, you pick the minutes in two rows: the tens (00 to 50) and the ones (0 to 9).

What if the hour hand is between two numbers?

The hour hand moves a little as the minutes go by. At 3:40, for example, the hour hand is between 3 and 4, closer to 4, but the answer is 3:40. The trick is to read the number the hand has already passed.

What happens with a wrong answer?

There is no red X. The time you picked gives a little wiggle, and the right time is shown in words before the next clock. That clock still counts as wrong, and the run can no longer go on the leaderboard.

How is the leaderboard ranked?

Only a run with all 10 right can be submitted, ranked by the time to finish, fastest first. Each level has its own leaderboard. The clocks change at midnight Japan time (UTC+9), and everyone gets the same 10 on the same day and level. Random practice gives new clocks every time and is not recorded.
